Objective Summary
Develop novel precision-aiming payload capability that can be employed by UAS and operated remotely. Hand-emplaced precision aiming is a common technique used by all militaries and civilian defense forces. Warfighters require the ability to remotely emplace and precisely aim, adjust, and employ disruptor shells against explosive ordnance threats often associated with Chemical or Biological warheads, supporting standoff and remote render-safe operations. The proposed approach should include one or more payloads that can be integrated with one or more Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) platforms and be capable of operating in a Chemical, Biological, Radiological, or Nuclear (CBRN) environment.
The full objective, description, Phase I, II and III requirements and evaluation criteria are in the official topic on DSIP.
